Scarlet el Vandaminion is the main character of May I Ask for One Final Thing? (Saigo ni Hitotsu Dake Onegaishite mo Yoroshii Desu ka?), a Japanese light novel series by Otori Nana. The series was adapted into a manga in 2018, and it is scheduled to have an anime adaptation air in 2025. The novel illustrations and character designs are by Satsuki, and the manga adaptation is by Hoonoki Sora.

Scarlet, the daughter of a duke, is the fiancee of the cruel and selfish second prince Kyle, the heir to the throne. Although Scarlet is inherently violent, she is forced to suppress her violent tendencies in order to keep her engagement with Kyle and please her father. Kyle mercilessly and relentlessly tortures Scarlet over the course of seven years, while she tries to kill all of her feelings and maintain a cold, indifferent exterior. The only one who can see through Scarlet's facade is the devious, black-bellied first prince Julius. At the start of the series, Kyle publicly breaks off their engagement and defames Scarlet. Now freed from all obligations, Scarlet unleashes her years of pent-up fury on Kyle and his corrupt supporters, using her fists to beat them all into a bloody pulp. Julius then recruits Scarlet to help him clean up the rest of the corrupt nobles in the country.

The light novel series currently has five books, while the manga adaptation currently has eight volumes published. Only the manga series has been officially released in English by Alpha Manga.
